I'm looking for a GOOD Banana Bread Recipe. I have one that I like but I've tasted better. Sooo, if you have a good Banana Bread Recipe, please please share!!
2 cups flour 3/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 lb. butter or applesauce 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 2 ripe bananas, mashed
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl; put aside. Cream butter, add sugar, beat in eggs one at a time. Add bananas. Then add the dry ingredients.
Pour 9 X 3 X 5 pan let stand for 20 min before baking. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes.
*this is the only banana bread reciept I use. It is easy to make and requires simple ingredients that I always have around. I double the reciept and put it into 3 medium sized pans and reduce the baking time by about 10 minutes. It's very forgiving and yummy.
Lora, have you never seen my recipe blog? www(dot)apronantics(dot)blogspot(dot)com??? It has several of my recipes on there. I think if you click on the labels list under "fruit", there should be two banana recipes. The pictures both look like cake recipes, but one is actually a bread and the other is a cake with frosting. Enjoy!
I consider myself a "Utah Mom... California Girl". I'm blessed to be married to my best friend and to have six beautiful and healthy kids.
I'm a stay at home mommy that also mentors other mommies through parenting issues. I love parenting, I love kids and I love helping others so becoming a parenting mentor was a natural course for me to take. I love what I do!!

Ok, I've only made it once, and it was too dry. So I think I'll try Leah's recipe too. Dang, that picture looks so yummy!
